Rendershot for Zapier

Use Rendershot inside any Zap — no code required. Capture screenshots and PDFs from 7,000+ Zapier apps, and react to completed renders with a webhook trigger that ships a 24-hour presigned file URL ready to attach, upload, or forward.

The Rendershot Zapier app is in public beta while Zapier reviews us for the App Directory. The invite link works identically to a directory install.

Connect in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Sign up for Rendershot

Create a free account at rendershot.io/register. Free plan includes credits to test with.

  2. 2

    Create an API key

Open the API keys dashboard and click Generate key. Copy the value — it starts with sk_live_.

  3. 3

Paste it into the Zapier app

If you haven't already, add Rendershot to your Zapier account via the public invite link. Then in the Zap editor, pick Rendershot as a trigger or action, and paste the key when prompted. Zapier verifies it against GET /v1/ping — a free call that costs zero credits.

What the app exposes

Action — capture a URL into PNG/JPEG. Use after any trigger.

capture_pdf

Action — render a URL into a PDF.

new_render

Trigger — fires when an async render finishes. Outputs job metadata plus a 24h presigned File URL that downstream steps (Gmail attachment, Dropbox upload, Slack file post) can fetch directly with no API key.
